Sunflowers

Unusual field crop not far from Midhurst on the Chichester road. Lovely sunflowers, not sure what the purply stripe is, but the green stripe at the back contains burgeoning corn cobs. Round the edges are small blue flowers, maybe from the previous years flax ( linseed) crop? All very pretty anyway on a dull but humid afternoon.
