Room With A View

There are many grand old houses in Peebles. They were often built on the edge of the town for the mill and factory owners and had grand views across the surrounding hillsides. Its nice to dream and imagine how it would be to actually live in one of these houses, both now and then...of what a pleasure it would be to be able to sit in the warm and watch the hillsides change through the seasons and with the coming and going of the sunshine, the rain and the snow storms.

A day of work, mainly, plus a bit of pickling of gherkins and shallots, and a wander to take in the fleeting sunshine.
