Roommates

This evening, my roommates (Karen on the left and Kendra on the right) took a photo for my friend Louise that asked me to be a small part of her upcoming article on the MTV Voices website. The article is focused on people starting university and what were their biggest worries vs. what has been a positive aspect of their new lives after a week or so of starting university.

I wrote briefly about how my biggest worry was my living situation and hoping I get roommates that I like and living in a comfortable environment. When you don't have a comfortable living situation, it can be awful and bleed into your successes in other things you do. So, it was a huge worry for me. I've been lucky so far and my roommates and housing is great. Kendra leaves Jordan in December and Karen in March, so neither are staying throughout my year here...so fingers crossed for the future!
