Lights out

It's been a very productive day at work today. Things are starting to take shape which has helped me feel more positive about the next few weeks ahead. I stayed late to help one of my team set up for our Sharers' event tomorrow. It looked good and everything was almost in place when I left. Maria wanted to stay and put the finishing touches to everything which I can completely understand as I'm quite a perfectionist myself.

As G had an after work drinks thing I popped to the nail bar on my way to meet him. I love having my nails done and it is my weekly treat. A vibrant colour today to match my mood.

Met up with G at Liverpool St and headed home. It was late and we'd normally get a cab home but I wanted to wander through the park tonight. The fun fair had been setting up all week and it was opening night, or so the sign said, but went we got there all the lights were out (hence the dark post). I was disappointed but let's hope the fair is up and running tomorrow.
