Gin o'clock
It's that time of year again when the boy and I grab the ladders and start scrumping for damsons. We usually distribute the goods to neighbours and jam making enthusiasts but this year they are all ours. If it goes to plan they will be used to make damson gin for our wedding favours. We have made it before and hasn't gone down that well with most but when our guests see the bar prices at our venue I am sure they will be very approving of the little bottle of toxic fruitiness!
Now we just need to go and buy 9 litres of gin! I might go at half eight on monday morning just to see the disapproving look on the checkout persons face!
