March

Met up with blippers LeftHand and (eventually) Figgy to go on the independence march.
I had to bail out before the speeches to get to Dunfermline, but the front of the march was going up Calton Hill before the tail had turned off the High St onto N. Bridge.
Pretty impressive numbers.
There were some groups from other independence movements: Catalans, Sardinians, Tamils, Flemish (hmmm, I hope they weren't associated with the very unpleasant Vlaams Blok).
Who knew that the South Tyroleans wanted independence from Austria? But there they were with hats with little feathers in and lederhosen...

Football was fine, beating Airdrie 2-1. Some of the most incompetent refereeing I've seen for a while, not particularly biased, just dreadful...
