Shallots

Sunbathing on the garden table.

Never quite sure how to dry these. Last year i laid them out in the porch but it was quite humid in there and lots went foostie.

Thought I'd stick the necks through the gaps in the table to stop them blowing away. Hopefully the rain will stay away and they'll dry out instead of mouldering.

Any suggestions for best way to dry? Store? I plan to pickle a good number but would like to keep some for cooking.
