Birthday Part 2

Day 219: Parents Visit

Mum and Dad came up for the night to celebrate my birthday. After more present-opening we went into town as I had booked us a table at Ribs n Bibs but when we got there they hadn't put us on the table plan. Not good at all! This was made worse when another group of people walked out because they had waited 20 minutes for a their table to be ready (being left standing for all that time) and then spent another 20 minutes waiting to be served and once they were, they were told that certain things on the menu weren't available any more... What a nightmare!

So, Emma remembered her friend had recommended Thailand No.1 so we headed there and luckily managed to get a seat. What a change we had! Welcoming staff, wonderful service and the food was superb! Perfect end to a disappointing start to the night.
