New Victoria Hospital, Glasgow

I passed by the new hospital early this evening. No, I was not on my way to Hampden to the U2 Concert. The roads were jammed, loads of police about and helicopters overhead. Bono still attracts.

I rather like the design of the side of the building. Don't know anything about the sculpture in the foreground, will have to look into this. Can any Glasgow blippers fill me in?
