Between the Yachts

An old frend invited us to go on his boat today. We went across the dam to another estate for some lunch and then lesuirely investigated some areas we haven't been to before.

The birds were all about bulding spring nests and we especially enjoyed the weavers. The little white-faced ducks gave us all a good laugh as they ran on the water before taking off. But the highlight was a flock of pink flamingoes.

We went in among the yachts and admired some of the beautiful ones. Before long the sun started to set and the sky was ablaze with magical colours. The weather has been overcast and windy but the afternoon brightened up for us.

I couldn't imagine anything spoiling this day for us.
