Elephant's Neck

This is part of the Magaliesberg Mountain range, which stretches from Pretoria, East from where we live right through to Rustenburg, which is more than 70km's West from us and further West to the Pilanesberg Mountain range.

C&R snr went to R's mother today and blipped this for me on their way back home this afternoon.

Her neighbour of over 35years, passed away last week and R wanted to support his Mom at the funeral service, seeing that she is a widow for the past 4 ½ years already, and she was very fond of the deceased and his wife, in fact, the two couples were best friends for many years! Now the two widows will have to support each other!

C&R were back home for about 30 minutes this afternoon, when R's mom called to tell them that the brother in law of the deceased, was killed in a car accident on his way to the funeral this morning, which explained why he never turned up for the funeral!! Is that not a terrible tragedy? He was apparently alone in his car, his wife passed away a few years ago already

We don't know the people, but we feel só terribly sorry for them! Will pray for them for courage to get through this!
