Squash Soup

After an induction onto my French course followed by a lengthy battle with the on-campus Santander, I was hit by the revelation that tonight is the first night when free food is not being offered to new students. Luckily I came back to find my flatmate Jess slaving away at the table with a knife and a squash. She's making soup now and it only took her eighty minutes to prepare the veg!
