Double Shot Mummy

A great day

14 months and 1 day growth picture. I really cannot figure out how my baby became a little girl. The first year with a baby (Or multiple babies), is always going to be testing. We have got to the post 13-month lovely stage. Maple is a little girl full of character and charm. She is sooooooo long and the little dot who used to be swamped in her tiny baby sleep suits has grown up.

9 teeth so far and another on the way.

This morning I got stuck into sorting out an incredible amount of filing. It had got out of hand and we really needed to sort it out into some kind of organised system. I still need to go through the 'categories' and re-order, but am feeling much more organised!

I have got my cooking mojo back and made a few things today including Winter salad with raisins and sunflower seeds, vegetable pakora pancakes and roasted vegetable couscous. I also made another batch of gluten-free bread. It is hard to get palatable stuff in Dubai, so I have to make it. Thank goodness for my Kitchen Aid mixer.

The twins had a happy day at nursery, (As always). We decorated their cardboard-box houses in the afternoon and watched Banana's in Pyjamas (Oscar's favourite).

Poor Maple has a temperature today. She is happy enough, but averaging 38.6.. Hope she has a good night and feels better tomorrow.

As for the America's Cup and Team NZ in the Yachting. Tonight needs to be the night. We only need to win one for my husband to start coming to bed before 2am and us all getting back to getting a descent sleep again!
