Sunday!

And a pretty lovely one at that. It was unseasonably good weather after it feeling pretty chilly over the last few weeks. The dog ran, the kids ran and chased the dog. We played hide and seek in the woods which is a new favourite of Chickpea's I think. Monkey tried his luck at balancing on a log on his own for the first time, there were a lot of mushrooms and other interesting fungi to inspect, and there were even a few blackberries left to eat. Good times!

Just read the "last year's" blip and it's funny that the weather thing has stuck with Chickpea. She always comments about the weather and how it's my day or daddy's day etc. Even Monkey has a day now- snow is his favourite apparently. I guess we will have to wait until he's old enough to decide if that is true.
