The lady of the castle

We got an invite for a weekend at Annie's castle, obviously when a friend asks if you'd like to stay in their castle for the weekend, the polite answer is hell to the yes! After a 5 hour drive we got to Ballone - greeted warmly with friends, stew and a roaring fire. Then I slept in a turret, in a 4 poster bed, (obviously after spinning around shouting "I'm a real princess" - good to get it out of your system early on in the weekend) and listening to the sound of the waves hitting the cliffs outside.
