M should have been at the lifeboat today, but was planning to pick up some wood from the timber merchant instead. Sadly he wasn’t open, so we had a lazy breakfast instead. I can’t believe it’s getting to the time of year that we need to start thinking about buying logs again!

M was feeling a bit wobbly after last night’s dinner and drinks so we decided to walk down to the beach and have a coffee and a brownie at the Pier Bistro before heading back home. M called his friend B to ask if he was keen on a game of golf, so we organised a quick game at Balnagask. I came last but the two boys played really well so I didn’t feel too bad :o)

My hangover didn’t really kick in until we got home, but when M made a tomato and chorizo pasta for dinner I couldn’t face it, so ended up just eating a bowl of peas instead! We curled up in front of the TV and had a nice relaxing evening of watching comedy shows and dozing. Bliss!
