Soon to be gone!

Tomorrow the tree surgeon should come to start cutting down this fir tree.

The tree used to be the Christmas tree for the village school. It was dug up each year. The school closed in 1966 and the tree was left and has just grown bigger and bigger. When we moved here 29 years ago, we could see the top of the tree from our bedroom window, but now it towers over the house.
