The Michaelmas Daisy Fairy

Another plate from my collection. This one from The Festival of Flower Fairies Collection by Cicely Mary Barker - the Michaelmas Daisy Fairy. Lots of these flowers around at the moment even though Michaelmas Day is not until the 29th, traditionally the last day of the harvest season and the feast of Saint Michael the Archangel.
