Happy Egg?

While searching for a blip at the end of a busy day, the sheer stupidity of this 'brand' struck me. It's quite inoffensive at first sight till you start to think about what it's trying to say and more importantly what it is trying to persuade consumers to think about with the healthy looking, smiling hen/egg mutant and the Scottish flag. I'm sure the Happy Egg co are not anything other than they say they are, but they belong to an industry that has some appalling practise. There is something I find quite repellent at times about the whole concept of 'Marketing.
