Long lunch with lovely friends...

Today Margaret and Graeme came for lunch. Due to life getting in the way, we hadn't seen them for approx 10 years! How can that happen?! It's awful. Christmas cards every year with a letter and a promise to definitely get together and before you know where you are, it's Christmas again and the get together didn't happen.

Well this year we were determined it would and it only took until September to do it! They arrived at 1.30pm and like all good friendships, we took up where we left off and it was as if we had last got together last month.

A lovely afternoon of food, wine and much laughter that continued till 9pm. Now that's what I call lunch.

A sign of how good a day it was is that the thought of lifting my camera didn't enter my head once till just as we were about to go to bed and I realised I didn't have a blip! A shot of the spent cheese plate seemed to sum up our lovely day with friends who we will be seeing again VERY soon.
