Sew Far Sew Good!

I've been to Bluewater today for the first time with my friend Julie. I've had a great day. I loved the layout of the shops, so easy to get around. Really nice shops too and some very different to what we have here in Chelmsford.

I loved the front of this shop which was the clothes store All saints. It had so many sewing machines in the window. This display was in the smallest window. They had another display of sewing machines which was twice the size of this one in a much bigger window. I should have counted how many machines there were. All very old. I remember my mum having one like these many years ago. I really liked her sewing machine and played around with it quite a lot. Very different from the wonderful machines with all the technology they come with these days.

Another first for me I had lunch in Jamie Oliver's restaurant. It was really lovely. The food was wonderful.

On our way home we decided to stop of for a drink in the local pub The Running Mare. Well we were there until they called last orders. We didn't realise the time as we were chatting so much.

As I was up very early for bootcamp it's been a long but very enjoyable day.

I'm planning to be up early again and get myself down to the pool for the early bird swimming session in the morning, so had better get myself to bed.

Was lovely having you FaceTime last night. Not long and you will be back for Christmas.....and you will catch up with your friends. X
