Fishing for apples

Busy day today. Started by working from home, waiting for the chaps from the Green Building Store to arrive to complete the window installation.

When my better half arrived home from work we went fishing for apples from a neighbour. I'd taped a plastic cup to the end of an old fishing rod so we could reach the big juicy apples at the top of the tree that are out of normal reach. We came home with a few kilos of Worcester Pearmain and about the same in Discovery and a handful of Bramley's. Today's blip is a shot of the Worcester Pearmains.

After apple picking it was back home to make soup for dinner and the I had to dash out for a meeting in the village. Tomorrow it all starts again...
