Flight arrived early today, bonus!! But we were fleeced by the taxi driver, our own fault we should have known better. We were persuaded to use a taxi that's not a yellow cab,it cost us a fortune, I won't even tell you how much as I'm so embarrassed! We should know better! Oh well lesson learnt!

Our hotel is amazing and in a fantastic location, we freshened up, then went out to dinner then had a walk around Times Square,there were rows of seats and on a huge screens, they were showing a live simulcast of the Met Operas opening night of Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin. It was amazing to see it on such big screens, a great welcome to NY!

A lot colder than Vegas, only 57 F tonight!!!
