TEDx Albertopolis at the Royal Albert Hall, London

We attended a half-day event at the Royal Albert Hall today. There were some very inspiring talks on how the fields of arts, science, technology and medicine are inter-related. The full line up of the talks is available here. This is another link with more information.

I have been to several museums in the area of South Kensington in London over the years but didn't realise until yesterday that this area around the south of Hyde Park is called 'Albertopolis' - as an homage to Prince Albert's vision of inter-disciplinarity - quite fittingly that art and science co-exist in this area of London: Imperial College, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Royal Albert Hall, Royal College of Music.

We thoroughly enjoyed the event and our visit to London and the Royal Albert Hall.
