HMS Warrior

A long awaited visit to the Portsmouth Historic Dockyards! What a treat, there's just so much to see.

The Mary Rose was awesome (but for me, didn't have the wow factor of the Vasa, which I visited earlier this year). There were many more artefacts from the Mary Rose and it took much longer than the one and a half hour visit suggested by the guide.

The Warrior was my favourite - a close relative of the ss Great Britain, which I was lucky to visit last year. There were a few modifications, notably the engines and armaments, but essentially they are sister ships. The amazing thing is that Warrior has had a similarly chequered career and is still afloat!
