Natures Table

The sun has come out at last. We went to Bryngarw Country Park this morning and it was still fairly dull, but by about lunchtime the sun came out. What a transformation. I liked this because it sums up how nature claims back it's own. I think that the bench is long past fit for purpose but it has it's own charm. It was lovely there today. The leaves were falling and the colours of nature were showing all the wonderful autumnal colours. After taking the photos we went into the Cedars cafe for coffee, and i had a piece of banana and walnut cake. They had jams and preserves for sale in the cafe ,so i bought a jar of chilli jam, made in Wales of course. I will enjoy that on my bagel in the morning. I just sampled it on a spoon, and it nearly blew my head off, but maybe not for breakfast. That will warm the cockles of my heart!
