Marks on paper

Every time I go on holiday I take a sketchbook and paints but out of a combination of laziness and fear of white paper I usually just point a camera at things. The sketchbook stays closed.

This holiday, I've done some little pencil sketches of paintings I liked in the Kroller-Müller Museum and today I forced the lid open on my watercolours to do this sketch of the view where we're staying.

Very timid but I least I did it.
