Popped up to Duxford to have a quick look around and see how the many restoration projects there are coming along. Caught a realitively newly restored Spitfire take-off before rain came in again. Grabbed this shot of the B-17 Flying Fortress, Sally B - More here;

It amazes me how people manage to keep these old planes flying, both mechanically and financially. A round of applause for them all - they keep alive the memories of the thousands of men that lost there lives fighting for our freedom. Thanks to all of them.
