Do you remember slides?

I do. When I was young my father used to occasionally shoot on slide film rather than print and we had one of those hand held viewers to view the slides on. There was something magical about them. The colour rendition was so much superior to film and they brought scenes to life, which was the idea behind this shot.

When my father died a few years back, I discovered some old slides that were in a poor state. I brought some new slide mounts and specialist cleaning materials and they were restored to a reasonable state. I had a load of slide mounts left so just scattered a few across my desk, photographed them and then added pictures of reptiles emerging from them. a lot of work and I'm not convinced the end result justifies the effort, but I'm getting lots of practice working with layers in Photoshop.

Not able to play sport this week. Doctors orders. Bugger that. I'll give it to Thursday and then I'm going back to the gym.
