Herstmonceux Castle.

One of the places we visited today. Built in the 15th century and restored in 1910, but we could not go inside, as it is now the International Study Centre for Queen's University, Ontario.
We enjoyed the Elizabethan gardens though, which go from the formal to the wild.
As the castle has a resident ghost, perhaps we were better off on the outside.
