Inteview today with IRC, the second in a series of three. I really enjoyed the conversation; good intelligent questions (or maybe just something different to what I’m used to?) are supporting my feeling that a change must be as good as a rest. My innate reluctance to work for the Americans with all their wealth bending under promises of Sahelien strategies for resilience etc. Must not forget that is much, much easier to say than to do, as evidenced by his response to my question: what is IRC’s definition of the Sahel? A: well, we’re in Mali, and Niger, and Chad… and some consider northern Nigeria.. and then of course there’s CAR..
