Hidden Deer

Sometimes these creatures see you long before you see them?
I went to a place where I had seen traces of Deer before so I was cautious in my approach,so although I did nothing to scare it.It had still seen me and stood perfectly still in the long grass,against a large Oak tree,so that I would not notice it?
I did catch sight of it just in time to rattle off a few frames!Two that had focused on the grass and this one that had focused on the Deer but with the grass across it's face?
But at least you can see what it is? It was then off in leaps and bounds across the meadow into the small wood.
