At home: Sams chicken....x

Sam bought a poorly chicken in the house this evening.

Its always worrying when you see a pale chicken. Chickens are a lot like people, their comb and wattles fade, become pale when they are poorly.

I not sure what's wrong with this one, she needs to be isolated from the others in any case. Sam already had it in hand. He had rustled up a course of homemade treatment and plan of care. This chicken is called 'Nosey'. She has demonstrated a 'Nosey Parker' personality which has got her into some situations that has meant her having to be rescued by the children.

In this situation, her Nosey ways have helped her. She is a well handled hen, which in turn means now she requires care and handling its not too stressful for her. In fact She might even find that being looked after by Sam is better than it first seems. A warm place to sleep, food on tap. There is nothing stressful about this life! X
