Trail Blazing . . .

Jools and I were tripping sedately in the afternoon sunshine along the track by the side of Silver Creek at Hungry Hollow when we were overtaken by a mountain biker, who ploughed through an almost-dry offshoot of the river before steaming away up a very steep incline . . .

100 meters further we came across a large information board informing hikers about Camp Norval, a summer home for young boys, the huts of which used to occupy the site (all that's left are a few concrete blocks). One of those huts sported the acronym KYBO - Keep Your Bowels Open. Ironically, a few meters along the track is a huge new sign warning, No Dumping! Or else . . .
