HERITAGE DAY

Today was Heritage day which has become to be known as National Braai Day (barbecue to most of you). It is a public holiday and a vast number of South Africans celebrate by have a braai. We were no exception as a friend was celebrating his birthday so we popped along there in the late afternoon.
He lives in the most spectacular spot in Cape Town, on top of Signal Hill with stunning views all round, including a very clear view of Robben Island (where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned).
Another public holiday well spent and fortunately the weather played ball.
