Palawan Beach, Sentosa, Singapore

Sentosa, an island just to the south of Singapore is a resort area with man-made beaches (the sand imported from Indonesia and Malaysia). The island has had a bit of a chequered history trying various attractions, some of which have been successful but others have fallen by the wayside.
The beaches are very popular and are extremely well kept. The beachgoers must appreciate this as at 6.30pm and all the visitors have nearly left there is not one scrap of litter on the beach!
Out in the ocean you can just make out one of the many (MANY) tankers moored outside waiting to visit the refinery .....not your typical tropical island lookout
