Wedding photos Chinese style

At Chinese weddings you kind of get married twice and the wedding photos only tend to include the bride and groom. Of course not taken on their wedding day. This couple are posing at the Peninsula overlooking Shenzhen Bay and Hong Kong New Territories in the distance. I couldn't resist adding a cheesy frame to the picture.

To get married in China. First the couple attend the official ceremony at a government office which is very matter-of-fact and unromantic but this they'll get the necessary wedding certificate.

At a later date, usually, a large evening wedding reception is held at a hotel and is attended by relatives, friends and work colleagues. The bride and groom welcome everybody as they enter and it's the tradition to present the lucky couple with an envelope with money inside.
