Balinese temple guard

Something more traditionally Balinese today. This is one of the two temple guards at the entrance of Pura Bima, one of the temples on the grounds of the resort. This temple houses an enormous statue of a deity towering over the buildings, but unfortunately the temple is closed and a bit in disrepair. The gates are locked so I can't go inside to capture that statue (unless I scale the waterfall in front of it, don't think I'm up to that)

So you'll have to make do with one of the temple guards instead, he's not the most handsome guy, but kind of jolly. Even if the temple is in disrepair he still gets the occasional offering as proved by the remains of offering baskets and sweets papers at the base of the statue.
