Roman cake
It's my wife's last ever day at work today, so I asked an old colleague of mine, who is a brilliant cake maker, to come up with something with a Roman theme as Wendy is really keen on Roman History. It's become a bit of a joke that I'm not allowed to use the "R" word as she's not old enough yet for retirement, so we got the joke built in to the decoration. Definitely the start of a new phase of life! The Latin text on the front translates as "Carry on and preserve yourselves for better times".
