Waterfoot Sunrise

Them & Us

Someone was getting some decent autumn sunshine today and it wasn't us! For the fourth day in a row it has been seriously overcast or drizzly with only the faintest glimpses of the sun.

Early this afternoon there were signs it was going to brighten up and Mrs B and I headed off for a walk. However, as soon as we stuck our noses out the door a dark cloud appeared over the hills behind us and obliterated the sun. It proved to be an excuse for stopping off at the Network Tearoom for coffee and cake before setting off to the bay. As we walked along the beach we could see the sun shining on Arran and all parts to the south, but it remained stubbornly grey in Carradale. Still it was good to get out and see a wee bit of blue sky above the people who were lucky enough to enjoy it.
