Conkers

Saw the tree with these conkers early this morning and had the idea of a close up of the conker with a misty scene in the background. Unfortunately, I had a problem with motion blur as I couldn't get a fast enough shutter speed on the Nikon v1 without introducing a lot of noise.

Instead I brought a small piece home and did a focus stack. Initially I kept everything in focus but then decided it may look better throwing the rear conker out of focus.
