Yes please... That's about as far as most people might have gotten. The next realisation is that it is Rentokil that are giving away the free food in the Grassmarket. Then it's the fact that in addition to these pigeon burgers##, the other delicacies on offer gratis were plain or salt and vinegar roasted mealworm, crickets and locust. You could then wash it down with chocolate covered bugs and scorpion lollypops.

Rentokil (the pest control people) are celebrating their 85th anniversary so they put on this pop up pestaurant in the Grassmarket today. My Friday Morning Roll Compadre is well known for trying the exotique culinary adventures so jumped at the chance of trying out some alternative food stuffs.

Perfect opportunity to add to the Burger series....

## It was actually a wood pigeon, venison and streaky bacon burger, so far from being the common scanky pigeon you first imagine, it's possibly the poshest burger I've ever wrapped my choppers round. Was lush an' aw'.
