Donation

I gave blood for the first time today. I have wanted to do it for a long time now but never got around to it. The donation centre is only 10 minutes from the office so easy to get to during lunchtime, no excuses!

I was a little nervous as it was new to me but I knew it would be fine. The staff we really friendly and put me at ease straight away and made sure I was happy and comfortable. Definitely being doing it again, just have to wait 12 weeks.

I did ask the guy who ‘hooked me up’ to take some alternative pictures but they were a little bit more graphic than I’d been aiming for. Don’t think anyone really wants to see the needle shoved in my arm!
