Knock, knock ... who's there?
This is the slightly sad looking door knocker on the back door of the brilliant Judges' Lodgings Museum in Lancaster.
I guess this bit is 18th century but the core of the place is the oldest domestic building in the city.... which I was told dates from around 1605.
This place holds such fantastic collections of Gillows furniture and - oddly enough - a brilliant childhood museum too. Todays blip reminds me that you never know what's behind a closed door.... go on, explore!
