Another railway related Blip! This is The Rodney Street tunnel which connected the Scotland Street goods yard to the rest of the North British network. Now part of the city's cycle network.

The Scotland Street yard was once connected to Canal Street Station (now the site of Waverley Market - sorry, Waverley "Mall"!) by another, larger tunnel which runs directly under the New Town. The northern opening is still visible in Scotland Street play park but the southern end was demolished when building Waverley Market.
