Gift
A friend gave us a big punnet of plums straight from her garden and these are some.
We are most grateful.
While lots of people remark about our garden and praise its unusual features this is a result not so much of planning as sheer necessity.
What do you do with a north facing sloping garden with poor soil overshadowed by trees and where anything edible that dares to show itself gets eaten by rabbits and deer (yes I am afraid the deer are back).
You resort to stone features (walls and terraces) though M does struggles to grow raspberries and blackcurrants and we do have a collection of herbs.
