Highs & Lows!

Today we took a trip out to Tatton Park for the girls' birthday. Much jollyment was had by Gracie & Ferguson at the Farm feeding these gluttonous sheep. Marley & Evie made a pair of corn dollies before we strolled around to the smelly pigs & zigzagged in the maize maze collecting freshly picked sweetcorn as we went. A trip to Oca in Sale served as the birthday tea, not before tours past old houses & schools. The disappointingly small portions were a contrast to the surprisingly high bill, but the girls enjoyed it- which I suppose is the important thing. Upon leaving Tatton, Ferguson slept the whole journey to Sale & throughout the meal, his exhaustion rapidity accelerated to him prettying falling asleep sat up at the table! By the time we got home, he got straight to bed-which at 8pm, was his bedtime anyway... I hope he gets well soon, his restlessness is killing my sleep too!
