Morning at Patricia Lake
Tiny Tussock reporting
Well it was…Morning and pretty early at that. It was even before Breakfast, theirs AND mine…Oh just a minute…I don't have breakfast…In fact anchored as I am to The Boss's Camera Pak all the time it is probably better that I don't have anything…OK? Thanks for the thought. Merci.
So dawn it was but like a lot of dawn expeditions it was actually an hour or so later before the light clipped the top on the mountain and many shutters clicked. Quite a few folk had packed up before but anyway it was very cold and The Bossess complained (a bit) that the heated seats didn't work if the car was not going AND there was ICE dripping off the outdoor furniture. The Boss complained that he didn't have a grrreat pair of Photographers Gloves like Di did so there may have to be some more shopping but the nice man in the camera shop thought it may have to be the WWW.
Other adventures today included Maligne Canyon, a really grrreat walk for about an hour including camera stops where we saw an amazing act of photographic madness when a bloke pushed his tripod with expensive camera attached out over the fence on the edge of the cliff, gripping the whole rig by end, to get a "better view".
One slip and the lot would have gone. The Boss found it very hard to watch.
On a trip like this you meet lots of folk from all over, and we certainly have. Canadians are also very friendly and have great sense of humours and "Jane" from the Breakfast place was no exception and had us in fits.
Tomoro…Banff via the ice fields.
Bulk Barking for all…We are loving your comments.
Bigger may be even better?
