When plums are plentiful...
I slice them in half, throw them in a roasting pan with cinnamon, star anise, fresh squeezed orange and zest, a splash of dark rum and roast them at 425 for about 20 minutes. This image used the overlay feature in camera and merged the raw and cooked images.
