Hard fight

Finally we had out project team event, bringing people together as some of them have never met each other ... and although virtual teams can work, it is such a big plus get to know each other. After the more formal information part we went out for bowling and dinner, having good fun. The big advantage of bowling is, that it creates a good mood, people are moving around a bit and talk to each other. Of course there is also a bit of 'fighting' to get most strikes.

The even bigger fight was to get this event approved. Although the cost are marginal compared to the whole project, it took in total a chain of 12 (!) people to get the managerial ok and then the full purchasing/accounting chain to have it booked and paid. Not always easy in big organisations ....
